Find a therapist who finds you.

Empowering you and your relationships one conversation at a time.

Is This What You're Going Through?

You're in the right place. I specialize in helping people build the capacity to navigate love, betrayal, and self-worth.

Relationships

You can't seem to communicate, feel seen or heard.

Betrayal & Rupture

You've experienced betrayals like infidelity and secrecy, that broke trust and changed how safe things feel.

Stuck in the Same Cycles

Feeling stuck, unfulfilled, or hopeless. You can name what's wrong but nothing is changing.

Self-Worth

You've got a persistent inner critic that has you feeling worthless and not good enough.

Sadie DeMille, therapist and owner of Timber Creek Therapy

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Sadie DeMille

My role in helping you heal connections and restore self-worth is to see the bigger picture-- to notice how the seemingly separate parts of your life connect, where the same dynamics repeat, and what's driving them beneath the surface. I listen for the common thread running through your experiences, and I use thoughtful- and often times paradoxical- questions to help you bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

My style is both warm and direct. I bring empathy, softness, and admiration for your lived experience-- and I'm also honest and clear when something needs to be named. I won't let you stay inside a familiar narrative if it's costing you growth, connection, or freedom.

There are elements of coaching woven into my work. That means we don't just explore why things are the way they are-- we focus on what you're going to do with that awareness. This is a space for perspective shifts, responsibility, and intentional change, grounded in a real understanding of who you are and how you want to live your life.

Questions? I've Got Answers

Everything you need to know before we meet.

Do you accept insurance payments?

Timber Creek Therapy operates as an out-of-network provider-meaning we am private pay only. However, we can provide you with a superbill (detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. We accept most major credit and debit cards, HSA, and clergy pay.

How often do we meet?

Most therapy needs are best met through weekly sessions, which provides consistent support and momentum to keep you from feeling stuck. As progress continues, this often shifts to bi-weekly or monthly sessions. We'll find a rhythm that works for your schedule and goals.

What's your approach or methodology?

We use an integrative approach, which means we tailor techniques to fit you. we draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Somatic Therapies and EMDR. Our goal is to give you practical tools you can use immediately while simultaneously addressing deeper patterns so you can have lasting change.

Is everything confidential?

Absolutely. Everything we discuss is confidential and protected by law. The only exceptions are if there's an immediate risk of harm to yourself or others, suspected child or elder abuse, or a court order—all of which are rare and would be discussed with you. Your privacy and trust are paramount.
